Proverbs 10:22 says, “The blessing of the Lord makes rich, and he adds no sorrow with it.” Rob West points out that "rich" in this context does not point to wealth. In Christ, we have been forgiven, reconciled to God, adopted into His family, and promised an eternal inheritance. Those are riches no market can increase, and no financial loss can take away.
