- How could Joseph and Mary, a young couple just starting out in life, pay for their escape to Egypt?
- Matthew says nothing about the trip, and the account in Luke makes no mention of Mary riding an animal, so many of the ideas people have aren’t actually backed up by the text.
- There’s no evidence indicating that Joseph and Mary were wealthy, but what about evidence that they were poor?
